Well the storm came in. With a vengeance, as you can see from the images below. Not all taken by me I hasten to add but it gives you some idea of the severity of it all.

We did venture out during a break in the rain this afternoon and what we came home to was nothing short of spectacular ......
...... there were over 50 wild cockatoos in the trees in the front garden. Not something you see in Newport every day!
