Australia 2017 - Day 17 - 11th March

Day 17

Got up early today to see Wales and Ireland live from Cardiff.  Justin got the BBQ going and we all had a good bacon and egg breakfast.

It was a great game, especially if you are Welsh as we beat Ireland by 22 points to  9, to ruin Ireland's chances of winning the championship and moving Wales up the table to be in with a chance of finishing second.

Friday 10th in Wales but 07.00 on 11th March in Sydney

Dan Biggar, Jonathan Davies and Jamie Roberts seem happy about the result

The rest of the day was planned to be quiet because Amy & Justin were going out later to see Adele live and I was to baby sit.  Amy needed a few things from Chatswood so I went with her to Chatswood Chase.  Then it was back home for lunch and a relaxing afternoon.

When Amy & Justin left I ordered a couple of Pizzas from Dominos to be delivered and while we were waiting for them these two seemed to burn off any surplus energy.

Dylan filling up on crisps

When the pizzas arrived, they settled down and Cerys ate more than me but Dylan ate none. Probably because he had filled up on crisps while waiting.

Pretty soon it was time for Dylan to go down, but not before there were a couple of 'nappy' incidents to deal with.

When he had gone to sleep Cerys and I were to have a movie night of her choice, and she chose Ratatouille.  Pretty soon she was dozing and by half way in the film she was fast asleep on the sofa. I carried on though and watched the film to the end, feeling uncomfortable about rats preparing food.

I left Cerys on the sofa until the others came home, enthusing about Adele.  Justin put Cerys to bed and I had already decided to stay up to see the Calcutta Cup match between England and Scotland which was due on at 03.00 in the morning.
