We all got ready early and went into Moore Park to the Fox
Studios Complex for breakfast, after which Justin took Dylan to the fair that
had been set up. I was going with Amy and Cerys to the Titanic Exhibition.

We arrived at the exhibition a little early and had to queue but it was really
worth it. As entered we were all given a
boarding pass with the name of a real Passenger on it. Cerys was Mrs Marvin who was travelling first class with her husband Daniel. Amy was Mrs Betsy Allinson who was travelling first class with her husband Hudson, daughter Loraine and
son Trevor. I was Paul Chevre, travelling first class alone to see one of my
sculptures being unveiled in Canada.

And then there are a few with us in: -
After spending a couple of hours looking around the exhibition we neared the end whereupon a large wall display told us had happened to our Titanic ‘us’ as the ship went down. Here are our stories : -
Mrs Marvin (Cerys) survived but lost
her husband after he returned to the cabin to get a coat for her.
Mrs
Allinson (Amy) died along with her husband and daughter. Only her son Trevor survived.
Paul Chevre (me) was playing
cards on the top deck as the ship hit the iceberg so he popped his cards into
his pocket and jumped into the first lifeboat to leave, obviously surviving.
Leaving the exhibition, we then met up with Justin and Dylan and drove out to Manley
Vale to have lunch with Kylie and Mike Billing at their lovely House. Iollo and Rhian Davies were also
joining us there. We had a terrific
afternoon, the food was fantastic (welsh lamb) and the company just great. All
the kids behaved impeccably and it was a shame the day had to end when it did.
