Australia 2017 - Day 11 - 5th March

Day 11

Well I am sorry to say I lost all of my photographs from today because a memory card got corrupted in some way so my report today will only show a couple of indicative images.

We started the day with breakfast at the Echo on the Marina restaurant located in Roseville Chase Marina, adjacent to Echo Park and overlooking a sheltered beach, Echo on the Marina boasts world class views, a holiday-like atmosphere and excellent food'

The friendly staff even gave the children food to feed the ducks and fish with whilst waiting for their own.

After breakfast we dropped Amy and Cerys off at home and Justin and I took Dylan to the fresh food market. French's Forest market is open every Sunday from 8am. The markets offer a great selection of fresh produce as well as a range of artisan and lifestyle stalls.

Weekly gourmet food and produce market, specialising in Certified Organic and fresh produce, probably turning over the largest amount of fruit and veggies on a market in Australia! A full range of delicious gourmet produce is available as well as crafts plants flowers environment and eco products fair trade and delightfully unique individual and personally produced goods.

People come early to enjoy the famous bacon and egg rolls and a coffee on the green grassy area but we did not, having eaten breakfast earlier.

We then took a ride to Dee Why to let Dylan have a play on the rocks in and out of the pools looking for crabs.  There is a A 50 metre pool and a toddlers pool at the southern end of thriving Dee Why Beach. One of the best spost for little toddlers, designed just for children, it’s well kept with plenty of shallow water for splashing around. adjacent to this are the rocky areas with many rock pools for little exploring minds.
