Aftyer breakfast at
home this morning I went with Amy and the kids to Barangaroo. We drove from here to Milson’s point and
parked the car in the Luna Park car park.
The views of the bridge and Circular Quay area are fantastic when viewed from this side of the harbour.
Waiting patiently for our ferry |
From here we
caught a ferry across to Barangaroo, stopping en-route at McMahon’s Bay and
Balmain to pick up passengers.
When we got off at Barangaroo,
we walked around all the buildings in this latest development in Darling Harbour.
It was not long before we stopped for some refreshment at the All Hands Brewing House.
We took the kids
to the playground for a short while, but it was so hot we headed for lunch in
the air conditioned cool of one of the nearby restaurants, Stacks.
The restaurant was aptly named Stacks, and that's just what they gave us. I think we left as much as we ate, we just could not manage it.
Everybody was so
whacked with the heat that we decided to go home after lunch, so we caught the
ferry back to Luna Park, picked up the car and headed for home
