Day 45
The morning after the night before. I was awoken by Cerys and Ellie hammering on the door telling me to get up and bring my camera. A Kangaroo had hopped over the fence and was in in the front garden. So I got up and went to see. Sure enough a big one was right outside our windows. Seeing that got rid of the cobwebs.

And it was a big one alright |
We all set about packing and tidying because we were leaving that morning. Nic did us proud again with breakfast for 12 before we carried on with the packing etc. Then it was time to say our goodbyes and we set off for home. Taking with us memories of this house.

En route we stopped at a place called Bowral to visit the Don Bradman Museum and Cricket Hall of Fame. Fascinating place, I could have stayed there much longer than I did but we had to get going.

My favourite area was that dedicated to the Bodyline series of 1932. I stopped to watch a short film here, fascinating.

Then it was time to go back to Sydney, driving through the Southern Highlands with its spectacular scenery.

When we arrived in Sydney we had to drop the suitcases etc of at the House in Frenchs Forest before heading back to Kings Cross with the hire car.
