The weather was atrocious this morning, pouring with rain so we abandoned our plans to go to Darling Harbour and ride on the giant 'eye' that is down there.
Instead we went to Hoyts Cinema in Chatswood and watched The Big Friendly Giant. This was a Disney/Speilberg production of the book by Cardiff born Roal Dahl.

Hoyts is a new cinema in the Westfield Centre and the seats are spacious and all are reclining.

Cerys soon settled down into her seat with a big tub of popcorn waiting for the film to start
Sitting comfortably |
We both enjoyed the film a lot, even the scary bits after which we went into the food hall so Cerys could have chicken, noodles and rice.
