Australia & New Zealand - Day 43 - 8th July

Day 43

When we got up this morning, we went outside to see another group of Kangaroos happily grazing not far from our chalet.

I think they've spotted us!

After breakfast we left the chalet to head off to the big house that we had rented for the weekend, but first we were going to find a road to Nowra to pick up provisions.  It was an interesting drive over a small mountain road on a very zig zag circuit and we even encountered a shy Wombat and a fast flowing river that we needed to cross.

We eventually arrived at Nowra, which was a modern town, very clean and with plenty of shops for us to find what we wanted.

Welcome to Nowra

We picked up what we needed and headed off to next find the House in Kangaroo Valley.  It turned out to be a great place in plenty of grounds with a swimming pool and hot tub jacuzzi and acres of land with a children's play area and a chubby hours.

It even looks great after the rain

We settled in and waited for the others arrived later in the day.  here are a coule of shots of the interior of the house: -

When the others arrived we all had a Chilli prepared by Alfie.  It was great and after everybody had settled in and the kids were tucked up in bed, the boys went downstairs to have a drink and a chat without annoying the girls or waking the children.  What an ideal facility.

This was followed in the early hours of the morning with the obligatory dip in the Jacuzzi.  Much to the annoyance of the girls upstairs!!

I think it all came to a halt at about 3.00am.
