Day 6
Caught the train from Chatswood into the city today and they really are special. Two deck carriages immaculately clean and seats that will face whichever way you want them to.

I then did a spot of window shopping in the city centre, including the magnificent QV building ......
|
The Queen Victoria Building |
...... Then I headed back to Circular Quay and bought a couple of 4 museum passes for me and Cerys. She is off school for two weeks over half term shortly and wants to visit the Prisoner And Convict jail museums. How could I refuse.
|
The Museum of Sydney |
There was another cruise liner in today, the Sun Princess, so I went over to have a look. Very impressive moored up with that Harbour Bridge as a backdrop.
Look at the two photos below and see the men working on the roof of the ship and the band of
people walking over the top of the harbour bridge.
|
Can you see the people on the top? |
|
There they are. |
I had lunch in Buckleys again. Can't keep away from the place.
|
Buckleys list of craft beers. |
A bit later on I decided to return home on the Manly ferry and despite the weather becoming threatening again and taking a turn for the worse, it still gave plenty of opportunity to photograph some of the various interesting scenes we passed on the way over.
